11:00 – 12:15 The renovation of the Japanese garden at Cowden Castle by Kate White

12:15 – 13:00 Light Buffet lunch

13:00 – 14:30 The renovation of the Japanese garden in Valley Gardens by Ann Beeby & Graham Hardman followed by visit to view the completed Japanese garden.

Kate White is the head gardener at Cowden Castle and has been involved in the renovation of this historic garden which is now open to the public.

Ann Beeby is our Y&H treasurer and is the leader of the project to renovate the Japanese garden in the Valley gardens in Harrogate.
Graham Hardman is our Vice President and has many years’ experience as a professional designer of Japanese style gardens and was responsible for the new design of the garden.

There is a small charge of £10.00 to cover refreshments and the talks.

Free entry to RHS Harlow Carr is included in the price for non RHS members.
