The Yorkshire Gardens Trust's book, With abundance and variety: Yorkshire Gardens and Gardeners across Five Centuries was a very exciting venture for the Trust and yet another way that we can encourage more people to explore the county's garden heritage.
Edited by long-standing YGT members Susan Kellerman and Karen Lynch the content moves effortlessly from private plot to public park to palace. Along the way we encounter delphiniums and dissent and move from bath house to burial ground. The authors are garden historians, academics and journalists united in their passion for Yorkshire's green spaces. Whilst packed with new research the papers are entertaining and accessible.
The Yorkshire Gardens Trust publishes a newsletter twice a year. Containing articles, committee meeting details and pieces on recent activities/visits, the newsletter is available to YGT members to download for free. For an example, see YGT newsletter 38
The available newsletters are available on Newsletters page - accessible to YGT Members only.
